SenSura® Mio is a new range of ostomy products that fits individual body shapes due to the elastic adhesive and stays discreet due to the neutral-grey textile material.

SenSura Mio is designed to provide a better fit to the body and optimal discretion due to the many innovative features.

The SenSura Mio Flex drainable pouch is separate from the barrier, so the pouch can be changed without changing the barrier. The pouch is attached to the barrier by means of the well-known Flex coupling which is a secure adhesive coupling system that is flat, discreet and flexible enough to adapt to body contours. SenSura Mio Flex is available in a broad range of flat and convex light barriers that can be cut to fit the stoma size or pre-cut. The range includes pouches that can be matched by coupling size (denoted by a color code - green, red, yellow); pouches are available in transparent or neutral gray (opaque) with inspection window.

SenSura Mio looks different from any other ostomy pouch, as it is designed to optimize discretion.

Unlike other ostomy products, SenSura Mio is made of a material that we otherwise wear on the body, ie. textile material. It is soft and comfortable against the skin, it provides low friction against clothes and it does not feel wet after taking a shower. In addition, the textile material makes the ostomy pouch look more like a piece of clothing than a medical device.
The color of SenSura Mio is chosen among hundreds of colors to find exactly the color that optimizes discretion under all clothing colors.

Have you ever had problems with your ostomy pouch inflating like a balloon? SenSura Mio’s full-circle filter has a unique pre-filter that is designed to reduce this problem.

Filters are vulnerable to stool and moisture, so the job of the pre-filter is to trap stool before it reaches the filter - while still allowing air to flow. Therefore, the full-circle filter clogs less frequently, so the airflow through the filter lasts longer and many users experience reduced ballooning.
Actually, the full-circle filter has proven to reduce ballooning by up to 61%. The full-circle filter can improve discretion and allows many users to sleep better at night.
