11/18/2020 – How do I wash the Fusion pad

• It is advised to always wash items upon reception
• Pre-wash with your regular soil to ensure any residual colour/dyes are eliminated
• To avoid pilling, we recommend washing these items separately from your terry items

DO NOT OVERBLEACH!
• Too much bleach may cause premature barrier deterioration. When using chlorine bleach, an anti-chlor must be used to prevent bleach carry-over.
• We do not recommend the use of softener.
• Use of oxygenated/peroxide bleach is recommended.
• Do not pre-soak products in bleach.

DO NOT OVERBLEACH!
• Load equipment to 80% soiled weight

DO NOT OVERDRY!
• Excessive drying temperature may cause deterioration and excessive shrinkage of fabrics.
• We recommend reviewing your drying times, as the Fusion bedpad surface is 100% polyester and will need reduced drying times compared to your standard cotton blend bedpads.
• Set drying temperature at 65 C (150 F), maximum 90 C (200F). 3% to 5% humidity should remain in the product after drying. Drying time may vary according to the type and capacity of the equipment.
• Allow a cool down of at least 5 to 10 minutes after drying cycle is completed to control wrinkles and increase fabric life.
• IMPORTANT - DO NOT leave goods in dryer or hamper! As soon as they are cool, fold and store. As with any items, spontaneous combustion can occur if improperly handled.
